A former member of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, Paul Mulcahy kicked off his early acting career with a number of productions in London including The Life & Times of Francois Villon by Anton Gill and Look back in Anger by John Osborne as well as various workshops and festivals before his parents’ funding ran out and he had to “get a proper job!”
Early amateur musical credits also include the Tin man in The Wizard of Oz, Prez in The Pajama Game and Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls with local amateur dramatic companies in his home town of Hartlepool where he also created and directed a local youth theatre company which is still in existence today.
Upon moving to London Paul spent some time with The Kingston Players on various productions. After a long career break (i.e. trying to make one) in Canada, Paul returned to the United Kingdom where his most recent projects include:
